As Burnley FC attempt to re-establish themselves as a creditable club, its renowned Beau (Willerby Branch|) has become something of a rogue. Whether it’s the newfound relationship affecting his gentle giant demeanour or too much sun from his multiple holidays the lanky lad from Lancashire is developing an edge. At this time of year early mornings tend to come with an autumn mist and it was no different on a recent Monday in October. The mist however was self-inflicted. Sunday’s Quiz night in the local pub had seen the brain cells stretched and destroyed all in a matter of hours. Thought and alcohol, like golf and good shots tend to be in opposition with each other and so it was I headed out with the weekly thick head.
