You don’t go out of your way to play this course you play it because it’s on your way. That is, if you are venturing along the North Coast 500 or having a day trip out while holidaying in the area. Regardless, the drive is interesting if not a little tortuous. Hazards along the way range from natures red squirrels, pine martins, deer and wild goats to man made obstructions such as potholes, single lane tracks and passing places occupied by badly driven camper vans.
